- Account perk
- A longer-term, league-inspired choice attached to an account. Account perks can support a combat style or provide utility outside combat.
- Account mode
- The rule set defining how an account participates in progression. Sarim lists Normal, Ironman, Hardcore Ironman, Ultimate Ironman, and Group Ironman.
D
- Dominion of Echoes
- An activity with its own rooms, progression, and rewards. It is separate from private solo Echo boss encounters.
- Drop rate
- The probability model governing loot. Sarim uses variable drop rates influenced by factors including selected XP rate and account progression, rather than one flat server-wide multiplier.

- Echo boss
- A boss variant presented as a private solo instance with an encounter-specific identity and separate reward table.
- Equipment perk
- See item perk.

- GIM
- Group Ironman. A restricted account mode in which a defined team shares its progression journey.
- Gridmaster
- An upcoming limited-time mode centered on grid-based progression, relic choices, area unlocks, and seasonal competition. Current development details are published in the update log.
H
- HCIM
- Hardcore Ironman. A self-sufficient account mode with a survival-based status. Current in-game death rules are authoritative.
I
- Instance
- A private copy of an encounter area. Echo instances isolate a solo fight from interference by other players.
- Ironman
- A mode built around self-sufficient acquisition rather than reliance on the wider player economy.
- Item perk
- An effect attached to an individual piece of equipment that can reward a combat pattern, resource strategy, defensive choice, or specialized setup.

- Perk Manager
- The in-game interface for viewing active perk slots, recommended paths, set bonuses, progress, and saved loadouts.
- Private server / RSPS
- An independently operated game server inspired by RuneScape. Sarim is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jagex.

- RuneLite
- The client and plugin ecosystem supported by Sarim's official desktop client. Download Sarim's launcher only from the official Play page.

U
- UIM
- Ultimate Ironman. A self-sufficient mode where restricted storage and route planning form part of the challenge.
X
- XP rate
- The pace at which an account gains experience. Sarim offers selectable 25×, 10×, and 3× rates.
Context mattersA familiar term may be implemented differently across private servers. Sarim's current in-game descriptions and update notes take priority over assumptions from another game or server.
