Account and client safety

Keep official accounts separate.

Never reuse your Old School RuneScape, email, Discord, or another server's password. Sarim staff will never ask for your password, and the official launcher is distributed only through sarimps.com.

Simple rule: unique Sarim password, official download page, and no credential sharing—even with someone claiming to be staff.

Is Sarim free to play?

Yes. The official launcher and access to the live game are free.

How is an account created?

Open the official client and complete account setup on your first login. The website never asks for your game password.

What platforms are supported?

The current executable JAR launcher supports Windows, macOS, and Linux with Java 8 or newer.

Does the client support RuneLite plugins?

Yes. The official Sarim client provides full RuneLite plugin support.

How do drop rates work?

Sarim does not use one flat server-wide multiplier. Drop rates vary with factors including your selected XP rate and account progression.

Is mobile currently available?

A mobile client is in development. Until it is officially released, use only downloads published on the Play page.

Will progression be reset?

No. Sarim has a no-reset policy for player progression.
